The Production
Henry Higgins, an egotistical professor of phonetics, makes a bet that he can transform a Cockney flower girl named Eliza Doolittle into a society lady, or at least a very good imitation of one. As a professor of phonetics, he firmly believes that the most important part of a mask of respectability is perfect diction, will Eliza's Cockney accent give her away?
